About The Therapist

is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in the State of New Jersey.  

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Seton Hall University and her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. 

LaShelle specializes in treating mental health disorders or mental health with substance use disorders (dual diagnosis). She has fifteen years of experience working with individuals challenged by mental health and substance use disorders in a variety of settings.

She aims to partner with clients to improve their quality of life by utilizing a comprehensive individualized plan with an integrative therapeutic approach. 

LaShelle also welcomes faith and spirituality into her strength-based and holistic approach. In addition to her education and professional experience, LaShelle utilizes her Christian-faith as an anchor and motivator.
